How long does it take to get a divorce in Texas?

There is a 60 day waiting period after the date the divorce is filed.  This is called the “cooling off” period.

How long do I have to wait to get remarried after a Texas divorce?

Thirty days unless the court waives the waiting period.

At what age can a child choose which parent they want to live with in Texas?

They cannot.  They can offer their preference to the court, but they do not get to “choose” in the sense that they make the decision.  You can read more in my article “When can a child choose which parent to live with in Texas”.

Will the court enter special visitation orders in Texas for children under three years of age?

They can, but do not necessarily have to.  You can read more in my article “Visitation for Young Children under Three Years of Age”.
